I have thought of this for an awfully long time. Probably since the beginning of this semester. I have really long hair as you can see from the cartoons I drew of myself.. (lol) but I feel like I should do something that could help me feel complete in a way. I have at least 11 inches of hair that I can cut off. I think I have decided to donate my hair after my graduation. I'm not joking. I feel like I should. And I would love to! I think it's time for a change. But I would like to know what you guys think. Should I do it? If so, where should I donate my hair to? I was thinking Locks of Love. What do you think? I would love to do it. Maybe I'll get a nice new hair style along with cutting it at a barber. :D

And just a heads up: Last time I cut my hair short was 7th grade. So it took me about 5 years to let it grow at least 9-10 inches.

Would this be worth it? I believe it is. Your hair can always grow back anyway. :3

Wow - it's as though we had the same idea! XD Ha ha (well actually I'm getting mine cut in a week...)

I think it's a wonderful idea to donate the hair you cut because you're giving it to people who need it. (Plus, as you said, it can always grow back. ^^ )
Locks of Love is one of the many organizations you can donate to. It requires ten inches of hair. I'm planning to donate my hair to an organization that requires eight inches (though I don't remember its name...), so the organization you choose should depend on how much hair you want to cut/give away.

I did that 2x in my life and I love not only to you donate your hair for a good cause, but you get a cute new hair style so it a win win for everyone.

THat's a great idea. I'm even considering gettting my hair cut and donating it myself in a year. I've been growing out my hair for a year and my goal is to grow it down to my butt. So far it's mid way. And the hair always grows back and shorter hair is easier to take care of.
